C'est quoi la paix?

Todd Parr has a wonderful book called 'C'est quoi la paix?' or 'The Peace Book'. We cannot find our French copy at school (the teachers are devastated!) but I was able to find the English version online. It is a great way to talk about Remembrance Day and the things we should be thankful for. We then had a wonderful discussion about what peace means to us (but in French!) and the students drew the ideas they came up with.
