We had a presentation from the Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society today. We saw pictures of different bears found around the world (panda, sloth, polar, grizzly, black and spirit bear). Then we learned more about the bears who live in Canada and BC. The presenter brought in a claw, fur, and skulls from a black bear, a grizzly bear, and a polar bear, that we got to touch and feel. Some students were a bit nervous about the giant polar bear skull but everyone was brave and touched it!

Polar bears have black skin. You could see it under the fur.
