Les Haricots

Today, we planted beans (les haricots)! Over the next 60 days, we will learn about the needs of living things, the characteristics of a plant, and we will journal about our observations of our bean as it begins to grow. Each student planted their own, and as a class, we planted some in a flat, clear container so we can see the changes to the seed as they begin to root. Every other day, we will take them outside in the morning and water it and then bring it back in at the end of the day so it stays safe overnight.
