Butterflies

All but one of our chrysalis' have hatched! We set up a butterfly net so they can fly around and some of them are very active. Butterflies drink sugar water and love to eat fruit so the students have been sharing pieces of their snack with them.

We also did some butterfly art. The students painted one wing, and then pressed the second one to it to create symmetry. They turned out really well!
