Butterfly Art

Tomorrow, we will release our butterflies. The students said they will miss them but understand they would rather be outside. We made some butterfly art today to put up in our class to remind us of them. The students painted coffee filters and then used a pipe cleaner to form them into butterfly wings. We put them on the windows so they are hard to see in the pictures. Even though we will let them go, we still have some more butterfly activities planned next week.

The coffee filters left an imprint on the desks!
