Les Poussins

Our eggs are beginning to hatch! When I came in on Tuesday morning, we had two baby chicks. One yellow and one brown. The students were so excited. We brainstormed some names and then voted on our favorites. They chose to name the yellow one Stephanie, and the brown one Waffles. Stephanie appears to be having difficulty with one leg. The farmer said it is not uncommon for the their hips not to set right away. Sometimes it fixes itself, sometimes it does not. If not, she will be fine, we just have to help her eat and drink. Keep your fingers crossed!
